System Requirements

ProProfs is an easy-to-use tool to create online documentation. It works just like a blog or CMS. There is nothing to install.  ProProfs is web-based and runs in your web browser.  This page will help guide you through the best setup.

Supported Web Browsers

For best results we recommend you use the latest version (but not a beta version) of your browser. Firefox is our recommended browser.
We support:

Browser Version Download/Upgrade
Firefox (FF) Mozilla Firefox (FF) 3.6 and newer (PC and Mac) http://www.mozilla.com/en-US
Internet Explorer (IE) Version 7.0 and higher http://www.microsoft.com/ie
Safari Version 5 and newer (PC and Mac) http://www.apple.com/safari/download/
Google Chrome Newest version (PC and Mac) http://www.google.com/chrome
Opera Version 9 and later (PC and Mac) http://www.opera.com/browser/

Note on older browsers:  ProProfs still works on older browsers, such as Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 2.5. However, you may notice speed or performance issues, and some things may look a bit off. It is strongly recommended that you upgrade your browser.

Supported Web Browsers (Logged in)

When you are logged in to the application, ProProfs supports all of the above browsers. However, the content editor (the tool you use to enter the content) does not work with iOS 5 (iPhone and iPad). You would not be able to write pages from an iPhone or iPad.
